We are a local grocery and provisions shop. Providing the neighbourhood with fresh fruit & vegetables, baked goods, dairy and other larder staples - alongside a simple offering of breakfast, lunch items or coffee to go or to stay. There are a few seats in the windows, but focus is on things you can take with you and enjoy anywhere.
THE STORY
After much consideration we opened the Cornerstore end of November 2025, on the corner of Godthåbsvej 24, as an extension of the existing Auren’s Deli located on Godthåbsvej 35. It was never about growth in terms of scale, but growth in terms of space to peruse, expand our selection and find more time to give our guests a good experience. We wanted the spaces to be in close proximity to each other to maintain the synergy between the two.
The Cornerstore is where we give our guests access to a range of curated high quality produce and products. Both familiar and uncommon ingredients that encourage conversation, curiosity and (hopefully) creativity. Everything is carefully selected based on how it is farmed or produced, locality, seasonality and overall production practices. We aim to work solely with products and producers who care about both soil, the planet and the people who consume the products.
Alongside fresh produce, we offer a curated selection of wine, dried goods, cheese, charcuterie, pantry items, preserves and a growing selection of non-food items. We want to create a delicatessen-like grocery store, driven by a strong sense of community and neighbourhood. We want to be the place to come for bread in the morning, a quick coffee on your way to work or a stop for good vegetables and a nice bottle of wine on your way home to cook dinner for family or friends.

Producers we work with
We are proud to work with a lot of talented producers who work with deep care & dedication for their craft.
Some are certified organic, others work beyond the parameters of the certification. All are selected because they work with soil, people and environment in mind. And because it tastes great.
The list is ever expanding - we will try and keep it up to date as well as possible.
Please note availability is not guaranteed, but know that we are working closely with our suppliers to have everything available at all times. But some of them are smaller scale - and so are we.

Harry's Nut Butter was born and raised in the Fumbally Café in Dublin 8 where Harry was working as a chef. The original started out life as the house nut butter, just going out with rounds of toast. It gathered a tiny little cult following of people tripping out over the sweet salty spicy nut butt and so he started selling it at market stalls.

Neal’s Yard Dairy is London's foremost cheese maturation specialist.
Founded in 1979 in a quiet courtyard in Covent Garden, Neal's Yard Dairy has been part of reviving the UK's traditional, raw-milk cheesemaking movement. Today, they work closely with around 40 small-scale, independent farms. Their team meticulously evaluates every single batch for unique flavour profiles, selecting only the most exceptional wheels to be hand-matured in their railway arch cellars in London.
Their raw-milk cheeses are complex in flavour and change beautifully with the seasons and pastures. They represent slow, honest food made by passionate artisans who treat farming as an art form.
We rotate our selection from Neal’s Yard, but will usually stock a handfull of different cheeses at a time. Currently focus is on the harder cheeses in their selection, to ensure the cheeses are enjoyed at their peak.

Gothenborg is a family run farm in Midtjylland founded in 1996 by Lone and Lars. Gothenborg operates on a simple, old-fashioned philosophy: animals belong in the wild. Their famous Skovkyllinger (Woodland Chickens) live a completely free-range life, roaming freely under the forest canopy and foraging naturally in the soil for a minimum of 90 days. the farm focuses entirely on slow growth and natural behaviour.
The patience and exceptional standard of care results in poultry with a remarkably firm texture, deep, rustic flavour, and minimal shrinkage when cooked. It is honest, sustainable farming.
We stock a good selection in our frozen section, including whole chickens, breasts, wings, liver, hearts and feet.
